Custom Guiding & Outfitter Quail Hunts

Many Barr Kennels customers have Deer Hunting leases or own ranch property but don’t have the bird dogs needed to hunt the quail. We will come to your property, furnish the rigs and dogs to take you and your friends or family on a hunt on your property. A shortage of Bob White Quail in Texas the past few years has made it difficult to provide a quality full service Hunt. For that reason alone we have temporarily suspended the Outfitted Hunts on our properties. Hopefully, in the next few years, the birds will be back and so will Barr Kennel’s Wild Bird Hunts. Released Bird Hunts

Experience and understanding are an enormous necessity in conducting a quality released bird hunt. Wes Barr and his staff have been orchestrating these hunts for 15 years and have the knowledge and dog power to make this an action packed fun time for all. Utilizing flushing and pointing dogs in unison makes this an experience you won't forget.
